Filmmaking

Sierra has always been fascinated and motivated by surrealism and emotional/sensory journeys within filmmaking.

Sierra created her first short film “passage” during the pandemic with LiAnn Graham. During that process she discovered her desire to explore more experimental filmmaking.

In 2022 she produced her first original film “ad noctem” as a collaboration with LiAnn Grahm and their production company LSP.

During this time studied experimental filmmaking with Rouzbeh Rashidi at the BAI in 2023.

As a result of her time there, she participated in their experimental filmmaking festival “you + me” in 2024, in which she collaborated on a 2 min short film remote with another international artist. They placed 2nd place/first mention and as a result will be partcipating in an artist residency in Brazil later this year.
